To be held at Faith Baptist college. See the tournament information here:
We have been asked to give a self-defense seminar for one of the Drake University social sororities and a fraternity. They have reserved a shelter at Gray's Lake that overlooks the boat rental area for the seminar, which is scheduled for 2:30pm, September 17.They may have 80 - 100 participants so we will need all the help we can get!
This will be an excellent opportunity to work with our community! Please consider attending.
Martial arts America and TRMA are co- sponsoring a seminar on September 24th, 2016 from 10-4pm . Grandmaster Jung and his black belts will be there as well. A light lunch will be served. At the seminar we will be reviewing new and old forms, advanced falling, self defense and other martial arts topics . I plan to see many of our BB's there. We need to have a good representation at the event. The location is at Capitol city church at 5990 NE 14th street, DM , Iowa, 50313 .Master Gonzalez
In fact I will enlist the help of BB's to help teach certain forms at the seminar.
Master Gonzalez received a request from Grand Master Jung and needs our help. We are asked to document, for each branch, the name of the instructor who started the branch and the history of instructors who later taught at each branch. All that is needed are the names.Pil Sung.
GM Jung is having a grand opening of his Tae Kwon Do History Room, and this lineage information is requested to be included in for the June 18th opening.
Please send information to Master Gonzalez.
Master Gonzalez will be at the Hub starting at 5pm this Friday, June 10th, to teach all 3rd dans and above Tae Baek form. This is a WTF 3rd dan form .
We need your help with the tournament!!!
Black belts: please let one of the tournament directors (Master Gonzalez, Master Siever or Ms. Bailey) know when and how you can help.Other adult volunteers: please let an instructor know when and how you can help so they can pass it on to the tournament directors.
Our CelebrAsian demo time on the main stage is from 1:30 to 1:45, May 28th. I am suggesting that we meet by 1 pm in the main stage area. I'll have more specific information on the meeting place as we get closer to May 28th. As I read this email, I believe 'liability waivers' will be provided the day of the event. I'll have copies available as well. I hope a lot of our students can participate in this demo because its on the main stage.
At this time, I do not believe we'll be having a demo at a later time slot. If you have any questions, let me know.
I'll be sending along further information as it becomes available.
